The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Tiger Forces have secured the village of Qasabiyah, located north of the town of Kafr Budah in northwestern Hama.
Units of the SAA and the Tiger Forces entered Qasabiyah on June 3 after a series of clashes with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and Turkish-backed militant groups. This development became the first advance in the area since the establishment of a temporary ceasefire in the area last week.
At the same time, artillery and air strikes were reported in Hammam, Barabu, Talk Sakhar, Khan Sheikhun, Kafr Zitah, Hobit and Lataminah.
