On October 16, the Syrian army and Hezbollah took control of the Air Defense Base from Jabhat Fatah al-Sham (formerly Jabhta al-Nusra) and its allies south of Aleppo.
The Syrian government forces also seized a small hilltop at the Khan Tuman-Aleppo road.
Recently, the army and Hezbollah have achieved significant gains in the 1070 Aparment Project and some gains in the Salah Addeen neighborhood in southern Aleppo.
