The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Tiger Forces are working to secure the western flank of the town of Abu al-Duhur, which has been recently liberated from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda).
According to pro-government sources, the SAA and the Tiger Forces secured the areas of Tal Azu, Jafr and Khafiya and advanced on Halban, Zahbia, Jadida and Tawil Halib.
Meanwhile, according to pro-opposition sources, Syrian and Russian warplanes have continued carrying out airstrikes on positions of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in eastern idlib in order to destroy the remaining weapon depots and HQs of the militant group in the area.
