The Syria-based blog said that the fighters are commanded by “Samer al-Hamed,” a former field commander of the FSA in the eastern Daraa countryside. Another batch of 350 fighters will reportedly arrive in al-Suwayda in the upcoming days.

Thousands of FSA fighters in the eastern Daraa countryside joined the reconciliation agreement in June 2018. Later, these fighters supported the SAA operation against the ISIS-affiliated Khalid ibn al-Walid Army in the western Daraa countryside neturlizing the group within ten days only.

The participation of these experienced fighters will boost the SAA operation in al-Safa, which witnessed several setbacks during the last few weeks.
