At least two people have been killed and up to 17 injured after a mass shooting at a nightclub in Fort Myers in western Florida. The incident took place during a ‘teen night’ in the clup. Some of people at the event were as young as 13.
Lt. Jim Mulligan of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said that 2 people have been killed and 17 people injured.
Fort Myers Police Department said that 14 to 16 people were injured.
About 30 gunshots from a number of weapons were reported.
Police is searching for suspects in two locations in the city while the authorities say that they have arrested one person in connection with the attack.
