Both Russian and Ukrainian military observers are sharing footage of military operations, shot from a first-person perspective that allows for the best possible understanding of what is happening on the battlefield. It is not uncommon for footage to be published from cameras found on defeated enemies.
A series of recently shared videos shows Russian assault operations on different frontlines. It confirms that the attacking Russian soldiers first persuade the enemy to surrender, more than once offering to lay down their weapons promising to spare their lives. Having received no response from the Ukrainians defenders, the attackers are forced to open fire:
