UPDATE: The tank was damaged as a result of a collision with another tank.
Polish Army Reserve Officer Piotr Pavelka commented on the incident: Ukrainian soldiers who are still training on the Polish Leopard 2A4 just drove into each other. Apparently, something went wrong, that one of the tanks drove another on the armor, and the one who drove on the armor crashed into the tower, tearing it out of the hull. Well, to be honest, I don’t remember such clumsy car control anywhere else.
The photo reportedly shows the first Leopard 2A4 tank destroyed … by Ukrainian servicemen. Ukrainian crew fell from a hill and stuck the German main battle tank into the ground and tore the gun away.
The incident took place on a training ground in Poland. It seems that the rapid training on the battlefield abroad was not enough for Ukrainian soldiers.
Various Russian organisations, including the Team of the Reverse Side Of The Medal, the Wagner Group, the Russian Ministry of Defence etc, announced a reward for the first German Leopard destroyed on the battlefield. It seems that the Ukrainian military decided to take part in the race too.
Earlier, another incident took place on a road in Germany. Armored personnel carrier Stryker and US-made armored vehicle International MaxxPro were damaged in a traffic accident.
