The Egyptian Air Force has destroyed 8 militant vehicles in a border area with Libya, according to a statement of the Egytpain Army spokesman. The air force intensified its air campaign against militants after the recent terrorist attacks in the area. (more here)
In North Sinai, the army resumed the third phase of its military operation in a buffer zone with Gaza after militants kidnapped three Palestine workers on the Palestinian side of the buffer zone and took them to Egypt’s Sinai.
Meanwhile, 2 soliders were injured in an IED explosion south Shiek Zouied. 2 others suffered injures as a result of gunfire near Kaber Omer area.
