As a result of the recent strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the town of Navaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region, the industrial area of HimPromAgrostroy was destroyed. Warehouses with chemical products and residential buildings of the village of Energetic were blown up.
So far, the deaths of 7 people were confirmed. More than 80 others were injured, including at least 15 children.
As a result of the AFU attack on the residential and industrial area, more than 1,800 employees of industrial and commercial institutions lost their jobs, residential houses of 37 families were destroyed.
The head of the Novokakhovskaya administration, Vladimir Leontiev, stressed that the blow was inflicted on the civilian infrastructure. Local residents report that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation loaded saltpeter for three days into the workshops of the local plant of hydraulic metal structures “Ukrhydromeh”, preparing to help farmers with sowing.
At the same time, the AFU claimed that they fired at an ammunition depot.

The Ukrainian military reportedly used HIMARS supplied by the US.
Several GMLRS projectiles were shot down by the Russian Pantsir S1 air defense systems. GMLRS are used in multiple launch rocket systems M270 MLRS and M142 HIMARS.

The Russian military failed to save the town from the attack. The civilian population in the southern district of Kherson is suffering from Ukrainian shelling on a regular basis, including in the town of Novaya Kakhovka. Most of the Ukrainian missiles are intercepted by Russian air defense systems. However, modern military equipment provided to the Kiev regime by its Western partners increases the number of victims, including among the civilian population.
