All the central district of Donetsk were shelled by Ukrainian forces
On June 13, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) subjected the city of Donetsk to one of the most intense shelling in recent times. The shelling on residential areas began in the early morning and it continues.
One of the bloody attacks of the AFU hit the Maysky market in the city of Donetsk. Ukrainian units intentionally targeted the area of mass gathering of civilians. The Ukrainian strike hit the local market on a weekend.
Three people were killed as a result of the shelling. At least 18 more civilians were injured, including 2 children. Among those killed were a young woman and her 11-year-old son.
During the artillery shelling, several retail outlets were destroyed, cars were damaged. Fire crews of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene.
The shelling was carried out from the MLRS BM-27 “Hurricane” with a high-explosive warheads 9M27F, the DPR representative office in the JCCC reported.
It was added that the Budennovsky district of Donetsk was shelled from the Ukrainian in the village of Orlovskoye. The 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the AFU is deployed there. The inhumane order was given by the Ukrainian commander Colonel Kurash Evgeny Yuryevich. The chief of artillery of the 25 Separate Airborne Brigade is Lieutenant Colonel Kapitula Vladimir Viktorovich.

Residential buildings in the Kuibyshev district of Donetsk were also shelled by Ukrainian forces. People jumped out of the windows of a burning house. No casualties were reported. About 13 civilians were wounded.
The hospital of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the center of Donetsk was shelled by Ukrainian Grad artillery systems. One of the shells got stuck in the asphalt between the hospital buildings, the second landed in the attic of the therapeutic department. The patients managed to hide, no one was injured. The building were damaged.
Fire broke out in the civilian warehouses in the Kiev district in the center of Donetsk after the shelling. The facilities were not used for military means. This is confirmed aerosol cans that are seen exploding on the video from the area. The warehouses were reportedly used to store office supplies.
In the Kuibyshev district of the city, the AFU artillery damaged the local cultural center and the St. Vladimir’s Church.

These are only a few civilian targets hit by the AFU in the morning of June 13. Civilians in the city of Donetsk as well as in the nearby settlements of Gorlovka and Verhnetoretskoe. Civilians were wounded.
The shelling on civilians with Grad units continues.
The attacks of the AFU have no military goals but only threaten civilians. Ukrainian servicemen have been killing civilians in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics for years. Unable to stop Russian advance on the front lines they intensified senseless attacks on the local population. In response, the Russian military is expected to carry out new attacks on the strategically important military facilities of the AFU in the capital or other regions of Ukraine.
