Another car explosion killed a police officer in the Kherson region which is under Russian control. According to the investigation, on March 17, an unknown person planted a special device under the left wing of his car.
The device exploded when the man, who was a platoon commander of the patrol and inspection service, was driving with his family in the village of Yubileyny in Aleksinsky district.
As a result of the explosion, the car was blown up. The police officer died on the spot. His wife, who is Chief of Staff of the local Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and their daughter were wounded and survived the assassination attempt.
The Russian Investigative Committee launched a criminal case under articles on murder committed in a generally dangerous way and attempted murder of two persons.
The investigation has yet to identify accomplices. However, the main suspects are pro-Ukrainian saboteurs coordinated by Ukrainian services. The Kiev regime continues its assassination attempts, targeting security forces and political officials in the regions it has lost. In recent years, Kiev has been waging the same terrorist war in the pro-Russian regions, killing civilian activists, journalists, politicians, etc. In the first months of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, before the Kherson, Zaporozhie regions, the DPR and LPR entered the Russian Federation, many public figures were killed in pro-Russian territories. At the moment, security measures have been significantly strengthened by the Russian special services, and the number of victims killed by Kiev has significantly decreased.
