On December 26, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) claimed that a group of Ukrainian saboteurs was destroyed near the Ukrainian border in the Russian Bryansk region.
Four Ukrainian saboteurs tried to illegally cross the Russian border but were killed by Russian security services during the special operation.
According to the FSB of the Bryansk region, Ukrainian militants were equipped with German SIG Sauer MPX submachine guns, communication and navigation devices, as well as four IEDs with a total capacity of about 40 kg in TNT equivalent.
Investigative measures are underway.

- Yuri Horovets (call sign “Svyatosh”, group commander),
- Maxim Mikhailov (call sign “Don’t drink beer”, sapper),
- Taras Karpyuk (call sign “Tarasiy”, sapper),
- Bogdan Lyagov (call sign “Apollo”, sapper).

The Kiev regime continues its attempts to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory. Ukrainian saboteurs have already managed to carry out several attacks on Russian territory. These include the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Several attacks targeted the Kursk nuclear power plant and Russian pipelines. After Kiev ignored Moscow’s warnings about a retaliatory strike, Russian troops responded with a massive strike on Ukrainian military and energy infrastructure facilities.
Security measures in the border regions of Russia have been recently strengthened. In recent months, many Ukrainian saboteurs have been intercepted. However, it is unlikely that the Kiev regime will abandon its terrorist strategy and it is expected to continue its attempts to inflict at least some damage to Russian infrastructure facilities.
