The Ukrainian military attacked warehouses with saltpeter located in the village of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region which is under control of the Russian military. The strike resulted in large explosions. Victims were reported.
The strike on Novaya Kakhovka was carried out by American HIMARS MLRS missiles.
According to the head of the local military-civil administration, civilian facilities were damaged. The number of victims was not revealed.
“As a result of the AFU strike on Novaya Kakhovka, warehouses with mineral fertilizers and saltpeter exploded, explosions continue. There are victims, a hospital, a market and residential buildings were damaged, windows were blown out within a radius of two kilometers,” the official said.
