Today, PayPal restored SouthFront’s account.
Dear readers, this became possible due to your invaluable support. SouthFront also expresses thanks to all of our informational parters that have helped us to hit the headlines with this long struggle.
Over the past two months, in total, SouthFront’s PayPal account was restricted for 34 days and blocked for 15 days. The SF Team released about 20 different appeals (both public and to PyPal) on the topics in question.
Meanwhile, SF readers made about 100 appeals, calling the system to restore SF’s PayPal account.
As a result of broad international reaction to the unlawful actions of some of PayPals employees against SouthFront, the information apparently reached some moral people among PayPal’s executives. These people sided with SouthFront.
By now, SouthFront’s PayPal account is restored.
This is our joint victory, despite a significant damage to the project and expected provocations in the future.
We express thanks to all who have supported the project and we are glad that there are some moral people in the PayPal payment system.
However, the situation remains critical. SouthFront’s capabilities to keep the project alive are constrained. If we dont find resources to maintain full scale video production, SouthFront will be pushed to decrease video production, significantly.
