On August 19, Gazprom claimed that the Nord Stream pipeline will be stopped again for maintenance. From August 31, the only working Trent 60 gas pumping unit located at the Portovaya compressor station will be stopped for three days. During this period, gas supplies via the Nord Stream will be suspended.
Maintenance of turbines after every 1000 hours of operation is required by the technical documentation of the manufacturer – Siemens, Gazprom explained.
According to Gazprom, upon completion of the work and the absence of technical malfunctions of the unit, gas transport will be restored to the level of 33 million cubic meters. m per day.
Gas prices exceeded $2,700 after Gazprom announced repair plans. Gazprom has already stopped pumping via the Nord Stream this summer from July 11 to July 21, when the pipeline underwent scheduled maintenance.

Gazprom has also reduced supplies via Nord Stream to Europe since mid-June due to problems related to the sanctions.
