On the evening of January 8, the Ukrainian military attempted another attack on the Russian border city of Belgorod. Ukrainian Nazis again opened fire with Czech-made Vampire MLRS on Russian civilians.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that 10 Vampire MLRS rockets were shot down by Russian air defense forces at about 9.30 p.m. local time over Belgorod and the Belgorod region.
At about 21.30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using the RM-70 “Vampire” multiple rocket launcher system on facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped.
Air defense systems on duty destroyed 10 rockets over the Belgorod region.
According to preliminary reports, at least three civilians were wounded. A woman and two men with shrapnel wounds were hospitalized.
“In the city, windows in apartments were broken in 2 apartment buildings, windows were broken in another private household, 3 cars were damaged by shrapnel. Four trucks were burning in the parking lot of the enterprise, at the moment they are extinguished by operational services,” the governor of the region wrote.

Russian revenge was not long to wait. Russian military sources already reported Russian retaliation strikes in the Kharkiv region, where an MLRS was destroyed near the village of Liptsy.
