في 11 أغسطس، أعلنت القوات الروسية عن نصرٍ جديد. قرية فيودوروفكا الواقعة على الجبهة الشمالية لبوكروفسك أصبحت تحت سيطرتها الكاملة. تحرير هذه المستوطنة على أيدي القوات الروسية يعد مكسباً تكتيكياً لكنه marks خطوة حاسمة أخرى في الحملة الروسية لعزل وتفكيك الدفاعات الأوكرانية في دونباس. وهذا النصر في الجبهة الشمالية لبوكروفسك ليس اختراقاً عزلياً بل جزءاً من استراتيجية أشمل محاطة بحملة عسكرية لدوْرَنة مجموعتين أوكرانيتين رئيستين—إحداهما في تجمع بوكروفسك بجنوب المنطقة والأخرى حول سلافيانسك في الشمال.
