The vicinity of the Yemeni town of Qatabah is the place of intense fighting between Ansar Allah and Saudi-led forces. Following a series of successes in the area, forces of the Yemeni resistance advanced in the direction of Qataban from Hamr and Shakhab, but failed to capture the town itself.
Saudi-led forces regroupped and launched a coutner-attack attempting to force Ansar Allah and its allies to retreat from the western Qatabah countryside.
