Pro-Turkish militant groups and the Turkish Armed Forces have launched a fresh push in the direction of the key town of al-Bab in the Syrian province of Aleppo.
Local sources report that now heavy clashes are ongoing between Turkish forces and ISIS units in the northern outskirts of al-Bab.
At least 6 Turkish soldiers have been reported injured.
Al-Bab is currently controlled by the ISIS terrorist group and has been an apple of discord among the Syrian government, Kurdish YPG forces and Ankara-led forces since the start of Turkish intervention in Syria few months ago. (Please, read this SF analysis to get more info on this issue)
