A brief overview of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- At least 150 members of security forces and the army were killed and 200 others were wounded in clashes with variuos armed groups the period from March 11 to March 25, according to pro-government sources;
- The Taliban conducted an intense attack on government positions in the Marjah district. According to pro-Taliban sources, at least 33 government troops were killed or wounded and 6 vehicles were destroyed.
