The Israeli Defense minister Yoav Gallant confirmed partial withdrawal of Israeli forces from the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military began withdrawing heavy military equipment after Israel had reportedly completed the phase of intense fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to Yoav Gallant, the Israel army is moving to the next stage, which will include more precision strikes. In his speech, Yoav Gallant said that Tel Aviv was withdrawing 30% of the forces involved in hostilities from the territory of the Palestinian enclave.

The Defense Minister justified the decision with the appropriate timing.

“At the beginning of hostilities, we outlined a time frame and made it clear that the phase of intensive ground maneuvers in the Gaza Strip would last about three months. In the north of the enclave, this stage has already ended,” – Gallant claimed.

The intensity of fighting is also reportedly decreasing in the south of the Gaza Strip. Earlier, the official representative of the Israel Defense Forces, the Israeli military plans to focus on the central and partially southern areas of the Palestinian enclave.

At the same time, the Israeli military is not going to stop military operations in the Gaza Strip. Israel confirms its decision to continue fighting until the complete destruction of Hamas. The IDF is now searching for the remaining facilities of the Palestinian Hamas in the area.

According to the reports by the MSM, the decision to withdraw from the north of the Gaza Strip was made amid Washington’s pressure on Israel. Meanwhile, the situation in the entire region of the Middle East is escalating.
