43 civilians have been killed as a result of US-led coalition airstrikes in the city of Raqqa, the Syrian state-run news agency SANA reported on Saturday.
“Identical local and media sources said that the warplanes of the “Coalition” bombarded al-Jamili Building in Raqqa, killing 43 civilians, most of them are either children or women, in addition to injuring others and demolishing the six-floor building,” SANA’s article reads.
The incident allegedly took place on Friday.
According to the agency, 108 civilians were killed in May as a result of airstrikes carried out by the US-led coalition in the provinces of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor.
