3 Jordanian intelligence officers were killed in an attack on a security office in a Palestinian refugee camp “Baqaa” near the Jordanian capital, Aman, Reuters reported on June 6, ciiting Jordanian officials.
According to reports, in total, 5 people were killed:
- 3 intelligence officers
- 2 security personnel (a guard and a telephone exchange operator)
Jordanian media described the development as a terrorist attack, adding that it took place at 7 a.m. No further details have been provided.
Baqaa camp is the largest camp in Jordan and houses over 70,000 refugees.
